Manual removal

1. To remove, check your Add/Remove Programs list in Control Panel (Start -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs). In the list search for apps related to and then choose ‘Uninstall’.

4. Delete any folder related to “” from the following folders:

  • %ProgramFiles%
  • %AppData%
  • %ProgramData%
  • %LocalAppData%

    Thank you for the information. After removing a program named “Default page” or “Default tab” in the Add or Remove Programs utility, the problem was solved. To be sure it is that program, klick on the tab “Click here for support information”. When this gives “” as info, this is the program or programs you have to remove.

    I installed something recently created a new Email with a provider and asked if I wanted “MySearchResults” as the default search engine. I told it “no.” I should have known it would ignore my “no.” I can’t find it with any of the suggested ways to find it. “Manage Add Ons” would not allow me to delete it. Now what?
