Qone8 Virus Removal

Qone8, also known as Qone8.com, is a malicious redirection virus and browser hijacker that modifies your browser’s homepage, default search engine and causes redirects of webpages.

Qone8

Qone8.com may look like a legitimate website created to assist users with their search sessions. However, security experts and malware researchers started to classify this threat as browser hijacker due to its constant redirections to potentially unwanted websites.

Once installed, Qone8 virus changes your DNS settings and hijacks the main browsers like Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Firefox. That results in continuous redirections to domain qone8.com. This browser hijacker virus is spread by using spam e-mail attachments, freeware or shareware programs.

Qone8 collects and stores all information about internet users activity, logs every visited website. All gathered data is sent to marketing companies. The company that is responsible for developing Qone8 malware, pays a certain amount per install for their affiliates, and this is the reason why it is exploited by so many online marketers.

Thank you for your help. I had tried the ‘spy’ bit and thought I had to pay for it to be beneficial. I have done it the manuel way, let’s hope it works. I have never had to manage add ons or right click the ‘E’ for internet explorer. I started with the add/remove programs and do it diligently when I goof and download something like a ‘movie’ player. I think that’s how I got the stinking thing to begin with. But, again thank you so much for your help here. Really appreciated. Vince

In the past, I used to have a virus called ‘qvo6′ and Norton Power Eraser removed it for me remotely. Then later on, Qone8.com appeared from nowhere and I have been advised to remove it with SpyHunter but not sure if it works compared to Norton Power Eraser. Can you advise what I could do please?
