Remove CouponDropDown Adware (Uninstall Guide)

CouponDropDown is an adware application designed to aggressively and constantly display coupon ads while you’re visiting websites like Amazon, eBay or Facebook. These advertisements are usually shown in pop-up boxes and contain various coupons related to keywords of the current website you’re visiting.

CouponDropDown is developed as an add-on that is compatible with main browsers, such as Firefox, Chrome and Internet Explorer. Typically this adware is injected to your browsers by installing free software. You may have heard a term “software bundle”. During the installation process, users usually do not pay attention to already marked checkboxes that offer various additional software, in this case it is CouponDropDown adware. Some of the applications that are known to bundle CouponDropDown are Mixi.DJ, Yontoo Layers, 1ClickDownload and FBPhotoZoom, but the list of bundled programs may be much longer.

Many PC users find it difficult to remove CouponDropDown adware as it is bundled under various applications names. To uninstall CouponDropDown may be also hard because of other add-ons that protect particular settings used by adware programs.
